Tiktoker Nguyen Tuyet Mai follows in the footsteps of Emperor-Monk Tran Nhan Tong

Nguyen Tuyet Mai has just had a special journey to Ngoa Van - Yen Tu, the land associated with Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong and over 700 years of history of the Truc Lam Zen Sect. Having extensively researched King Tran Nhan Tong and being particularly moved after reading the book "Am May Ngu" (Sleeping Clouds Hermitage) by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, Nguyen Tuyet Mai has always carried the wish to return to this sacred land.

The visit to Ngoa Van Yen Tu is a special occasion for Nguyen Tuyet Mai because she feels that this place not only possesses majestic scenery but also gives her a sense of peace, like returning to her own home.

"Setting foot here, I feel like I am returning to my own home - a place that brings a peaceful and special energy," Nguyen Tuyet Mai confided. 

The trip is also an opportunity for Tuyet Mai to continue her mission of spreading the fine values of Truc Lam Buddhism with its engaged ideology, "Buddha in the heart" (Phật tại tâm), and the spirit of living beautifully in every moment.

As a representative face promoting the beauty of Ngoa Van, Nguyen Tuyet Mai hopes to be one of the pioneering youths in preserving and promoting the values of Truc Lam Buddhism. She believes that the journey following the footsteps of the Buddhist Emperor is not merely a trip, but also a connection with the spirit of enlightenment and compassion.
