Spring Pilgrimage to Truc Lam - Ngoa Van Buddhist Holy Land, Dong Trieu
The Ngoa Van Pagoda complex is located on Bao Dai Mountain, within the An Sinh commune (Dong Trieu). Ngoa Van is where King Tran Nhan Tong established a hermitage for his spiritual practice and achieved enlightenment. Therefore, Ngoa Van is also considered a holy land of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhism.
Currently, Ngoa Van has been invested in infrastructure to make pilgrimages more convenient with a system of 52 Poma cable car cabins (a brand from France). With the desire to create impressive travel experiences and enhance service quality, Ngoa Van has officially introduced new impressive "check-in" spots for visitors from all over, such as the Zen garden, Truc Lam meditation hall, banquet hall, a system of vegetarian and pizza restaurants, and the peace bridge at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.

Also in the first month of the Year of the Dragon (Giap Thin), Ngoa Van Yen Tu officially began operating a system of restaurants, accommodation areas, and banquet halls that are comprehensively invested, convenient, and offer high-quality services.
Returning to the land of Buddha, pilgrims gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual journey of Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong. Visitors can appreciate the beauty of the land and sky, bringing peace to their souls. Despite the challenges of the pilgrimage, the emotions remembered in the heart, and the affection of the visitors are not only for the magnificent and beautiful natural scenery of a mountainous region but also for the place that is the source of Buddhist stories, reflections on life, and a complete understanding of religion and life. Ngoa Van, a sacred and majestic land, offers interesting experiences during a spring pilgrimage, even in just one day of worship and exploration.
