“Spring Scene” – Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong

Birds chirp leisurely, willow branches grow thick

The flower terrace at dusk is shaded by flying clouds

The guest arrives and asks not of worldly affairs

Together leaning on the railing, watching mountains and clouds

The Spring depicted in the Buddhist Emperor's poem is a physical reality during the Zen Master's sunset hours, which, along with the visiting guest, transforms into an inner mindscape. In the quietude of nature, the scenery and the human heart seem to merge as one. The most profound meaning at the end of the poem expresses the Zen flavor reaching the state of liberation.

This Spring, we choose to return to the reality of life at the Sanctuary of Vietnamese Buddhism

Blossoming together in the stillness of humans and scenery, for a present life full of blessings - prosperity and peace 🍂🍃

Returning to the sacred land to connect with the energy source to cultivate the inner strength of body, mind, and spirit🍂🌿
