On May 14, 2026, within the framework of the National Scientific Conference on "Preserving and promoting the values of cultural heritage in association with sustainable tourism development", a delegation of leading lecturers, experts, and scholars nationwide visited and offered incense at Ngoa Van Hermitage - Pagoda - a World Cultural Heritage site.

Connecting academics and heritage practice

The National Scientific Conference on "Preserving and promoting the values of cultural heritage in association with sustainable tourism development" is an event gathering 165 authors from 80 training institutions, research institutes, and major enterprises across the country. With many research works of high practical and academic value, the conference contributed to clarifying the core role of cultural heritage in sustainable tourism development strategies, while concurrently spreading traditional cultural values to the community.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation carried out the journey of offering incense and paying homage to the Buddha at Ngoa Van Hermitage - Pagoda. Standing before the tranquil ancient hermitage amidst the misty sacred peak, scientists and scholars respectfully offered incense in commemoration, expressing profound gratitude for the magnificent contributions of Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong to the Dharma and the nation.
