Meditation Garden – The Beginning of a Journey Toward Inner Peace
Located just behind the Tam Quan Gate, the Meditation Garden opens into a spacious setting that welcomes visitors into a realm of tranquility and serenity. It serves as the first point of contact, gently reminding each person to leave behind the noise of everyday life and begin a journey back to the pure energy of this sacred land with over 700 years of Buddhist history.
The Meditation Garden is thoughtfully designed with a harmonious blend of natural elements and artistic arrangement:
A Peaceful Centerpiece: At the heart of the garden stands a statue of a young novice monk with hands joined in greeting and a gentle smile, offering a warm welcome and signaling the beginning of a journey toward inner calm.
Concentric Circles: Surrounding the statue are beautifully arranged concentric circles of stones, symbolizing the radiance of compassion and the convergence of wisdom.
Graceful Curved Pathways: Two symmetrical curved pathways lead from the Tam Quan Gate to the main hall, creating a soft, flowing rhythm for pilgrims’ footsteps.
Fusion of Materials: Above the walkways is a modern glass canopy system, skillfully combined with traditional bamboo materials—providing protection from the elements while preserving a rustic, natural charm.
The Meditation Garden is not only a place to admire but also a venue for meaningful meditative and cultural activities:
Venue for Tea Meditation & Zen Music: With its open design, it is an ideal setting for mindful tea gatherings and musical experiences, allowing people to connect and share in awareness.
Harmony with Nature: The open space enables visitors to fully महसूस the breath of the mountains and forests and the stillness of nature, creating a deep sense of connection that soothes the soul and restores both body and mind.
