Aiming to spread the beauty as well as the cultural and spiritual values of Ngoa Van, Ngoa Van - Yen Tu Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company is organizing a creative contest themed "Ngoa Van - The Pride of Vietnamese Buddhism." The contest runs from March 7, 2025, to April 15, 2025, and is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 18 and above.
Entries can be photos or videos reflecting the majestic natural beauty and historical relics at Ngoa Van - Yen Tu, especially Ngoa Van Pagoda, where Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong practiced religion and entered Nirvana. At the same time, the contest aims to introduce the cultural, historical, and spiritual values of Truc Lam Buddhism, demonstrating the spirit of "Cu tran lac dao" (Living in the world, joyful in the Dharma) in modern life.
To participate, contestants must register in advance with the Organizing Committee via hotline or email, then submit their entries through the program's official fanpage or email. Each contestant can submit 5 to 10 photos or a video lasting from 2 to 5 minutes.
The entries must capture at least three typical scenic spots in Ngoa Van, such as Ngoa Van Zen Village, Binh An (Peace) Bridge, Middle Ngoa Van Pagoda, Upper Ngoa Van Pagoda, the Fairy Chessboard, etc. Valid entries will be posted on social media, and prizes will be awarded to the works with the highest engagement that also meet the aesthetic criteria of the Organizing Committee.
The total prize pool for the contest is incredibly attractive, including 2-day-1-night experience packages at Ngoa Van, free cable car tickets, and many other valuable gifts. Especially, 50 round-trip cable car tickets will be given for free to the earliest registered contestants, giving them the opportunity to create art in the sacred space of Ngoa Van.
