In the sacred atmosphere of Ngoa Van, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) in Quang Ninh Province, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (ĐHQGHN) and Ngoa Van Yen Tu Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company, solemnly organized a commemorative and gratitude ceremony honoring the Third Patriarch of Truc Lam Zen – Venerable Huyen Quang.

The highlight of the opening program was a spiritual incense-offering ritual commemorating the life and immeasurable merits of Venerable Huyen Quang. In a serene atmosphere, artistic performances vividly reenacted his spiritual journey.
Stories of a brilliant Trang Nguyen (top scholar), who renounced worldly glory to pursue the path of enlightenment, brought deep emotions and admiration to the audience, reflecting the noble spirit of Truc Lam Zen.

A significant milestone of the event was the strategic partnership signing ceremony between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (ĐHQGHN) and Ngoa Van Yen Tu Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company.
This agreement affirms a strong commitment to advancing academic research, human resource training, and the sustainable preservation and promotion of spiritual-cultural heritage—positioning Ngoa Van as a leading destination for traditional education.
Experiencing the Sacred Land of Ngoa Van: From Am Ngoa Van to Bai Da Chong
The journey continued with an incense-offering ritual at Am Ngoa Van, where King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong attained Nirvana.
Here, faculty members and students listened to in-depth insights from Dr. Nguyen Van Anh, Head of the Faculty of History, on the historical significance and valuable archaeological heritage of the sacred site.
The delegation also conducted a field visit to Bai Da Chong, admiring the majestic natural landscape intertwined with the nation’s historical flow. The combination of academic knowledge and real-life experience helped students deepen their sense of national pride and responsibility toward heritage preservation.
